For the last couple of weeks students have been learning how to Jump Rope/Skip.  Students have been engaged in many activities(seen below) throughout our unit that have given them the opportunity to practice proper jumping techniques and overall coordination. Students have been jumping/hopping in and over obstacles and have been introduced to a skipping rope and the proper steps that have to be taken to effectively jump rope. Take a look below at some of our progress throughout the unit!








Grade 1/2

For the last couple of weeks students have been engaged in a variety of cooperative games. We will be beginning a unit on 'Team Building' for Physical Education and "Practising Safe Behaviour" for Health next week. Below are some examples of students actively participating in class.






Grade 3 - 6

For the last couple of weeks students have been participating in our Unit of "European Handball". Students have been learning proper passing, catching and shooting techniques and have been introduced on how to move into space and create space for teammates during gameplay. Below are some pictures of our progress throughout the unit.
